Hon. (Chief) Sunny Osezua Ojiezele popularly called Ikpenomhen (the good seed) has congratulated the Ugbesia twins; Elder Senator Odion Ugbesia and Elder Hon. (Barr.) Akhere Ugbesia as they celebrate their 76th birth anniversary.
In the congratulatory message Hon. Ojiezele extolled the exemplary qualities of the Ugbesia twins which took them to the Zenith of politics in Nigeria and today they are elder statesmen with National reach and enjoy the respect and admiration of political actors across the country.
The statement read in part, “Elder Senator Odion Ugbesia and his twin brother Elder Barr. Akhere Ugbesia (Honourable), are men that I respect very much. I take pride in the fact that we are from the same town. I’ve learnt a lot from them over the years and some of those lessons reshaped me politically.
“As they celebrate their 76th birth anniversary, I wish them heaven’s best. I wish them long life in health of mind and body. It is my prayer that God will continue to beautify their lives and make every new year a joyous and fulfilling one.”
Elder Senator Odion Magnus Ugbesia was a one time Minister of State and Minister for Solid Minerals before representing Edo Central Senatorial District at the red chamber from 2007 to 2015. His twin brother Elder Hon. (Barr.) Akhere Ugbesia is also an astute and fantastic parliamentarian who represented Esan South East State Constituency at the Edo State House of Assembly from 1999 to 2007.
