The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB has come up with plans to prepare a befitting Burial for their Supreme Leader’s Parents, Nnamdi Kanu’s parents.
His Royal Majesty Eze Sir I. O Kanu, Eze Ome Udo 1 and Egwu Ukwu 11 of Afara-Ukwu and His wife, Lolo sally Ugoeze Okwu-Kanu.
According to the Statement signed by the Deputy Leader of IPOB, Uche Okafor-Mefor, he said there will be a special Funeral Broadcast and event in London, United Kingdom.
- Because their Leader is an international icon, there will be events for global audiences.
The Deputy Leader, therefore, invites all Biafrans and friends of Biafrans in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, Middle East, North and South America to hook up to the events.
He also called on Igbo Communities and well-Wishers of the Family of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to Participate.
The live broadcast will be on the eve of the funeral, 13th February 2020 from 6 am to 6 pm London time.
On 14th February will be for open event and broadcast 6 am-6 pm
There will open the floor for calls from Global Audience, Eulogies, Tributes and Presentations.

Recalled that Nnamdi Kanu had promised to come for the Burial of his Parents as the first son of the family.
The IPOB said they have put all the security arrangements to keep the enemies on the check.
….” we are not going to disclose our security arrangements because they are many enemies who wish to destroy or destabilize every effort made for the successful burial of the father and mother of our leader.”
“IPOB is on the ground and nothing will change our resolve to protect the environment.”
However, Speaking through the IPOB spokesman, Kanu stressed the resolve of the group to maintain a peaceful approach to their struggle for the actualization of the Biafra republic.
